45 degree 1/4" and 1/2" drill jig
thingiverse
I need a 45-degree jig for an upcoming project without breaking the bank, so I decided to DIY it instead of buying one. Here's what I came up with: - The bit sizes are 1/4" and 1/2", but be aware that the tolerances might be a bit tight, requiring you to drill out a small amount on your first use. - The distance from the drill hole to the board edge is adjustable using the stopper. - The stopper holes are 1/4" apart for precise alignment. - The 'keyhole' design of the stopper pins allows you to rotate the stopper, achieving approximately 1/8" precision when setting the distance. - A built-in 'sight' ensures side-to-side alignment and extends through the jig to the surface. The original stopper rod proved weak under my printer's stress, leading to frequent breaks. To strengthen it, I created a new 'rod' file that should provide improved durability if needed.
With this file you will be able to print 45 degree 1/4" and 1/2" drill jig with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on 45 degree 1/4" and 1/2" drill jig.
