45 deg LED Mount

45 deg LED Mount

This is a compact 45-degree LED mounting solution designed for my ANET A8 IKEA Lack table enclosure. The mounts should fit seamlessly into any 90-degree corner, allowing you to direct various objects towards the build area (camera, lights, etc.). I specifically needed something to attach the Flexible LED Strips to Rigid Strips by dBECHTOLD (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:536648) to the Lack Case - Stands - Anet A8 by Bobby87x (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2137804). Mounting the LED strips high above the print bed created a lot of shadows on the part being printed. I discovered that positioning the LED strips in front and shining them onto the part level with the print bed yielded the best results for illumination. I wired the LED strips to an individual switch and the 12VDC ANET A8 power supply, allowing me to turn them on/off as needed. One LED strip positioned on the front right, paired with one on the front left, provides complete illumination of the entire print area. The 45-degree mount is attached to the LED strips and the Lack table stands using super glue.
