thingiverse
Mom always said necessity is the mother of all invention. Found a need and filled it - nothing more to say. Designed with the idea of housing a dozen or so moderately sized left-handed cigarettes in mind. I printed this design using Simplify 3D, relying on 1mm supports inside the holes and under the pegs to ensure accuracy, although I'm fairly certain this would print without any supports at all. Designed for ease of printing, minimal detail was incorporated. Feel free to alter as you see fit. Print Settings Printer: DreamMaker Overlord Pro Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.20 Infill: 20 Notes: * Supports were added solely for the quality of the hinge. If your printer can handle these details well, then no supports are necessary. * Infill quality was kept high to ensure a smooth surface finish. Only you know your printer's limits, so work within them. Post-Printing The magnets used were repurposed from a package I received for something else. Adjust the holes accordingly (they're held in with hot glue). It takes a little flexibility to get the pegs past the body width to snap into place, so be careful and take your time. I broke one trying to force it - don't make that mistake! The right side of the box fits better on my machine, allowing me to insert one peg fully, while a bit of love was needed to clear the corner on the other side.
