420 Cannabis Day Pendant and Earring set

DescriptionOnce again my wife asked for me to design some earrings for the upcoming “Holiday" so I knocked out some quick sketches in Shapr3d, did a few test runs and I think this combined set of earrings and matching pendant came out really nice in two-tone! PRINT SETTINGSNothing fancy here, those pictured in the photos were printed using a 0.4 nozzle, 0.15 layer height (0.2 first layer) and 0.4 wall width.  play with the settings to get the right outcome on your own printer.  While i usually opt for a 0.6 nozzle in most of my designs I was not entirely happy with the detail I could get with 0.6 and i think 0.4 nozzle produced better results, given how fine the line work in these little guys are.A note on the attachment for earring or clasp I've gone back and forth on this element a few times and received good feedback on previous earrings that it can be too thick sometimes to allow for proper “dangling”.  In this case, the height of the attachment is much shorter than the rest of the model to allow for finer control (this is also where low layer heights and the smaller 0.4 nozzle seem more appropriate).  if you find the hole where your pendant ring or earring hanger is too small, a very small finishing nail or large pin heated with a flame (use pliers and gloves please!) is ideal to open up that hole sufficiently to allow the wire to pass through easily.LEAVE A MAKE OR COMMENTIf you enjoy these guys please leave a make and comment.  let me know if you have an idea for a new request too! OTHER EARRING DESIGNSsee my previous earring sets…Rabbit bunny easter earring setPineapple earringsBeer Hops earringsCannabis leaf earrings
