40s&w ammo box 100 rounds
thingiverse
Here is an ammo box I designed specifically for 40s&W cartridges, holding 100 rounds. Before assembling, you'll want to give the hinges a quick touch-up with a 1.5mm drill bit. Next, insert two headless nails - 1.5mm in diameter and 25mm long - into place. Don't skip using a cooler when printing the hinges; it's crucial for preventing any damage. One additional note: I've incorporated a support rod into the closing flange of the lid, allowing you to print it horizontally without issue. This design tweak results in an impressively secure closure. To ensure a perfect fit, take a moment to fine-tune the fitting with a needle file after removing the support. A few quick passes should do the trick - and you'll be left with a box that closes flawlessly.
