To enhance airflow around my RAMPS board, I mounted a 40mm fan vertically beside my rostock-mini's acrylic base. This "L" bracket facilitates vertical mounting on flat surfaces with 4 fan holes; however, the STL file doesn't include bracket mounting holes. You can add them in OpenSCAD or drill through the bracket and attachment for precise alignment. After slight enlargement of fan holes, I used 2.5mm screws and nuts for mounting, but self-tapping wood screws could also be employed.
