This is deigned to screw onto a 40mm (outside diameter) vacuum hose with a helical rib (effectively a thread) with a 5mm pitch and 3mm 'thread' height. It can then be attached to a standard friction fitting for larger diameter vacuum hose with an outside diameter of 40mm. \ The internal face in this adapter is 40.5mm at the mount, narrowing to 39.5mm internally Fusion360 file available on request
