I was thrilled with the ancestor thing for my part-cooling fan, but it couldn't be used for my MK8 heatbreak fan, so I combined it with the Snap-On ends from another great design to make it suitable for both fans. The flattened version is scaled down to 70% in the Z-axis while keeping the Snap-On ends perfectly sized, and this configuration works beautifully on my printer.
