The motor mount, coupling, and impeller are fully solid, while all other components have a 20% infill rate. The impeller shaft is a simple 4 mm steel rod with a hole drilled for a small set screw to pass through. Alternatively, you could file a flat spot instead of drilling a hole - the choice is yours. I used a Traxxas Velineon 3500 motor and a 3s ESC to power my jet. Although I haven't tested the geared setup yet, it's highly recommended that you use it because these motors spin too fast to generate sufficient torque to match their RPM. The motor mounts are simply screwed onto the jet drive, but I'll be posting an all-in-one mount and jet system within a week. Pictures of the completed jet will be up tomorrow. This project is still a work in progress - feel free to leave a comment if there's anything else you'd like me to add or help with next.
