40mm part cooling fan adapter/duct- Ender 3
thingiverse
I'm editing the design to include longer vanes on intake, angled for better alignment with my nozzle, and smoothed internals. This revision is dubbed "vane and angle edit". I've added vanes to boost the performance of the axial fans I intended. This rough but functional remix combines ChipCE's design with DEjello's ideas for the Ender 3 part cooling fan, specifically tailored for a 40mm Noctua. I used DEjello's mounting points for the Noctua and relocated them to avoid interfering with the x-axis bolts. I combined this with ChipCE's fast printing fan duct design. The print was done in Cura using tree supports for the body, but I blocked the support blocker on the duct and mounting holes. ABS material was used, with temperatures ranging from 245°F to 110°F (enclosed). Tree supports were employed with some parts blocked. The fans are 80mm, perfectly dialed in for my Ender 3.
