This adapter makes any RD40x1/7 threaded full face CBRN masks compatible with Spasciani 2000 bayonet series line of chemical, combination, and particle filter cartridges to help alleviate PPE shortages by expanding cross compatibility of respirators and filters across various manufacturer models. Use Proper Gaskets The integrated respirator to filter gasket on the mask side requires users to apply double-sided tape or spray adhesive to adhere rubber gasket/TPU to the outer periphery of the female side connection of this adapter as the geometry is reversed, bayonet on filter side. 2.) Perform Proper Negative Pressure Test Put on your respirator and adjust the straps until they are tight against your face. Ensure there are no obstructions around the seal area due to hair, facial hair, or other causes. Exhale deeply and cover all inhalation ports with your hands. Now inhale deeply. The mask should suck tightly against your face without any air leakages. 3.) Use At Own Risk – Temporarily Solution Only Until Supply Chain Normalizes Three-dimensional printing materials are not resistant to many solvents, are water soluble, and degrade when exposed to chemicals, heat, and UV/sunlight. Three-dimensional printing this adapter is a temporarily ad-hoc solution against biological contagions. Apply a thin layer of polyurethane clear coat on all exterior surfaces, spray or dip based methods, to help resiliency and durability for repeated sterilization. Dev.
