This adapter allows for connection of a 40mm fan, suitable for computers or servers, to an accessory or nozzle that expects radial airflow. Its design was particularly tailored for use in cooling PLA parts during the printing process; however, it should function well with other applications as well. It's worth noting that the adapter is press-fit onto the nozzle, so its inner diameter may be slightly too tight depending on your printer model and the nozzle in question. When printing on a stock Sunhokey Prusa i3 late 2015 model, slight filing down of the adapter was required to ensure smooth functionality with the nozzle.
