40mm Fan to 3M Bayonet Adapter

This adapter is my little solution to reducing fumes from activities like resin printing, without having to vent to the outside air. Using a cheapo 40mm fan you can connect a 3M respirator cartridge (such as the 6003 Organic Vapor Cartridge shown) and vastly reduce unpleasantness. There are a variety of different filter cartridges available, including Particulate and Gas/Vapor, so I recommend checking the filter specifications for what to use if you (for example) choose to use this for reducing Soldering fumes, etc. Similarly, each Filter has a specific lifecycle both in terms of months once opened and actual functionality. As a rule of thumb, if things start to smell worse again, it's probably time to change the filter. Please note that this print, even when combined with a certified filter, is not in any way guaranteed to make you safe. It connects to a filter and a fan, everything else is completely beyond my control. So use common sense when resin printing, soldering, painting, whatever... and obviously use fresh air ventilation if available.
