40mm Fan Shroud Remix DaVinci 1.0A with E3Dv6 Extruder Mod

This has been revised from the original (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:822476) to address several problems I encountered: My extruder nozzles are Stainless Steel and are several mm longer than the originals from E3D. Consequently, the fan was actually blowing on the heater block, not the layer. To fix this issue, I moved the tip down 5 degrees so that it blows directly on the layer. The slots on the original design were in the wrong position; even after filing, the belt scraped against them. In addition, I suspect that the belt occasionally hangs on these slots, causing X-Y failures during print jobs. To eliminate this problem and make installation easier, I replaced the slots with a semi-circular indentation. This also ensures that all fan flow exits through the nozzle without any loss. The holes are for a 50mm fan; however, I wanted to use the original 40mm, 5v fans from the DaVinci so that I could control them using Repetier .92. To accommodate this, I relocated the hole slots to install 40mm fans (Note: These holes were simply "eye-balled," and some drilling/aligning screws may be necessary). The entire setup was about 5% too large to fit in my DaVinci housing. To correct this issue, I reduced it so that the block that holds it in is the correct size: 19mm x 35mm. This revised design isn't aesthetically pleasing (modified in mesh lab), but it now works on my DaVinci 1.0A; feel free to leave a comment! Print Settings: Printer: DaVinci, Modified Duo with E3D V6 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution:.2mm Infill: 30% Notes: Prints support on the inside; to make removal easier, I spaced them out about 20% and applied a cooling fan at 50%
