40mm Fan Shroud for Metal Plus with E3D v6

UPDATE: Too much air was blowing on my nozzle due to excessive nozzle pressure, so I revised the design to add more airflow at a downward angle. UPDATE: A vertically challenged version that is 22mm in height has also been added for those who need it. Please note that this version has not been tested for airflow as it was created specifically upon request from another forum member. This new fan shroud is designed for the Printrbot Metal Plus when using the E3D V6 hotend, coupled with the factory PB Alu Extruder Block. It utilizes the original 40mm fan supplied with your printer but requires M4 screws that are approximately 11mm in length to mount the shroud. To mount the shroud, you will need to space the extruder block away from the X Carriage so that the E3D can be directly mounted to the factory block. The STL file used is available at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:37608. Side Note: When first turning on the fan, I noticed that the blades were barely contacting the PB mounting plate, making a buzzing noise. To fix this issue, I lightly touched 220 grit sandpaper to the spinning blades until they no longer made a noise when mounted. This tip may be helpful if you encounter similar problems. Feel free to leave comments or suggestions below. Enjoy!
