40mm Fan Blade Replacement / Fix (Usongshine - Ender 3 / CR 10)
thingiverse
This is for a replacement with a slightly wider hub, not the original 40mm fan of the Ender 3. Check the dimensions before printing! This is a remix of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4266433 (even though I did the design from scratch, but he gave me the idea). I broke the original Ender 3 fan blades with my tool and then used DanielMitchel's design to fix it. After that, I replaced it with a much quieter Chinese fan, available at https://www.ebay.com/itm/Usongshine-Lufter-3D-Drucker-Lufter-TurBo-Kuhler-Kuhlung-Ventilator-24V-DC/362997655896. I broke that one too sometime later. This is a sleeve with the fan blades that fits 40mm cooling fans with a wider center diameter. Refer to the dimensions in one of the images to see if it fits your fan. You're supposed to cut the original remaining blades and slide this sleeve into the old blades hub. Please refer to Daniel's design for pictures. The original by Daniel has a cap, but this one doesn't since it's not really necessary and only prevents you from getting the sleeve all the way down. This was designed on Onshape, and if you want, feel free to copy, modify, or whatever.
