I've experienced terrible luck with noisy 40mm centrifugal fans. Over time, they become loud as their bearings wear out. This fan is designed to be installed in exactly the same position as a centrifugal fan. It also fits many existing fan nozzles. Some nozzles that attach to the outside may require trimming.
