A 40mm fan ducted shroud is designed for Prusa Mendel printers, featuring LM8UU linear bearings and J-head extruders. Its internal flap adjusts airflow to the hotend, snapping between LM8UU brackets or secured with double-sided tape. The duct aligns with J-head MK4 extruder vents while the other directs air evenly around the nozzle, enhancing sagless bridging and sharper corners. Version updates include adjustable dampers, Slim x-carriage mounting, larger vent options for V2 carriages and extruders, plus a Revit source file. Bridging requires optional fan use, created in Revit and 3ds Max; Skeinforge compatibility is not an issue. The damper's internal hinge can utilize 3mm filament or nuts/bolts.
