The caps provided with the seat were hard to fit, and even harder to remove (to add additional nuts for instance). The original caps were also not protecting you at 100% from the sharp profiles edge, this simple cap does it. This cap is tight but not too much and protects you at 100% by totally covering the sharp edges.
