4040/8040 extrusion glider
thingiverse
Hey guys, I'm sharing a glider design that came in handy for my 3D printer. Since I couldn't find any suitable options for 4040 extrusions, I decided to create one myself. This simple solution saves time and gets the job done. You can expect some follow-up photos soon! The holes at the back are specifically designed for tensioning the wheels using a tie wrap. **Print Settings:** * **Printer:** Homemade delta printer * **Rafts:** No rafts were used in this print. * **Supports:** No supports were necessary. * **Notes:** To achieve optimal results, I recommend 100% infill for the wheels and 15% infill for everything else. This design is specifically made to accommodate 608Z bearings.
