403Mhz Dipole
thingiverse
Dipole antenna for 403Mhz. I wanted to receive the weather balloons sent every morning by a nearby airpoirt, so I designed this dipole support. I printed it in PETG in order to withstand the weather. Though I have some PLA+ prints outside that are working well so far.. The dipole consist of 2 pieces of about 17cm long and 2.6mm diameter Bronze soldering bars. The dipole is soldered directly to RG58 coax and then it is covered in hot glue. There is also a cover that fits snugly on top of the dipole which I also glued with the hot glue gun. The larger hole is for an 8mm diameter wooden dowel that acts as a mast which I also glued, though it fits quite snug.
