400mm Carbon Fibre X Quadcopter

I've been dabbling with quadcopters lately, experimenting with various designs that catch my attention here. Ultimately, I wanted to design and build one on my own terms. The creation utilizes printed parts as the foundation for the main frame and motor mounts, while embracing 10mm square carbon fiber tubing for the arms. This strategic move grants the arms superior strength compared to traditional printed quads and an astonishingly low weight. When combining it with a battery, props, additional LEDs, the total takeoff weight settles around 595 grams. According to my thorough testing utilizing the mentioned parts, I've established that this design can effortlessly support up to 750g over the specified value. It makes for a robust quadcopter capable of handling considerable payloads such as a camera and FPV gear – if properly secured, that is.
