40 MYA Coprolite, Ancient Turtle Feces Fossil

thingiverse

A fossilized piece of feces is known as a coprolite. The term "coprolite" originates from the Greek words Kopros Lithos, meaning "dung stone". Essentially, coprolites are extremely old pieces of poop that have become fossilized over an incredibly long period. This particular piece comes from the Eocene Epoch, approximately 40 million years ago, and is a petrified fragment of sea turtle feces found in Madagascar. A high-resolution scan has been made available. If you decide to print this, please share a photo with me.
