I create my own fence post caps because I think they're way too expensive and often pretty lousy quality. That's why I came up with a design and printed one myself, making sure it measures 3.625" x 3.625" to account for the wood expanding and contracting over time. When installing, don't overtighten - leave some slack so the wood can shift around as needed. Recommended hardware: Deck Screws
