UPDATE 2015-07-03 - Tolerances have been adjusted for an even tighter fit, providing an optimal match. Ensure that your printer is precisely calibrated before commencing a print job. A 4-Way Elbow designed specifically to interface with 1/2" Schedule 40 PVC pipe has been developed. This fitting is part of a comprehensive series of 1/2" PVC components being designed to complement conventional plumbing fixtures. Small triangular holes were strategically integrated into the piping to facilitate drying of adhesives. On initial trials, I discovered that absolute air-tightness prevented adequate drying processes. Top horizontal notches on this fitting eliminate the need for support structures during printing. This series will continue to be expanded with additional fittings, which will be shared as a derivative of the original 3-Way Elbow design. Suggestive feedback regarding required fittings not yet created is welcome. Derivatives are strongly encouraged, with an added incentive: all new creations should be tagged with #HalfInchPVCFittings.
