4" Toothpick
thingiverse
Here is the rewritten text: I built a 4" Toothpick Frame in two versions, one with mounts and canopy for electronics I used, or just the frame itself with mounting holes for a 26.5x26.5mm FC. Used electronics include: * BetaFPV Toothpick FC 20a V3 * BetaFPV custom Eos2 fpv cam * BetaFPV A01 VTX * FrSky XM+ Rx * Hglrc Flame motors with 3600KV, mounting holes D12mm * Dalprop 4045 two-blade prop To build the frame, you will need: Using screws to connect carbon to printed parts is better if you have to change broken parts. Using glue will save a bit of weight but may cause problems when repairing. * Parts/steps needed if using screws are marked like this * All screw holes where the carbon rods are connected to the printed parts need to be cut with an M2 thread, using a M2 steel screw to cut threads works great. Motor screws: 8x M2x8mm, 8x M2x7.5mm (make sure your screws do not touch motor windings/motor holes towards the FC are designed 0.5mm shorter) * FcMount + TPU shim + 4mm carbon pipe: use the TPU-shim together with 4x M2x3.5mm aluminum or steel screws. Be gentle with pressure, don't turn it all the way in, just make sure the carbon pipe isn't moving when you pull slightly. * Motormount + carbon pipe: 12x M2x3.5mm Nylon screws, again slightly pressure, we won't harm the carbon pipes. Fc mounting: * Screw: 4x M2x10mm * Nuts: 8x M2 * (Screw>printed FC-Mount>Nut>FC-Softmount>Nut) Extra parts needed for a full build: * 2x M2x6mm spacer + 2x M2x7.5mm screws (connecting Back+Cammount to Fc-Mount on the left and right side) * 1x M2x8mm spacer, 1x M2x6mm screw (connecting Back to Fc-Mount) * 1x M2 Nut, 1x M2x6mm screw (connecting front of cam-mount to Fc-Mount) * 2x M2x6mm Screw (connecting Canopy+ Vtx-Mount to M2x6mm Spacer) * 2x screws 1.2mmx5mm with self-cutting thread for the VTX Pultruded carbon pipes: D=4mm d=2.5mm length=78mm D=3mm d=2mm length=99.59mm The maximum size tolerance in length is -0.2mm, best to be as close to written length or slightly below. A little build-vid for VTX/RX/Canopy can be found at the end of this post: https://www.instagram.com/p/B_stdp2qi_l/ Frame Build: https://www.instagram.com/p/B-9gIpXqcYM/ All parts together with an 850mah4s Lipo is 247gramm.
