This adapter fits snugly onto a 4-inch port on a dust collector, seamlessly connecting two 2-inch shop vac hoses. A router table's upper and lower dust collector ports demanded a solution to join them both to the main dust collector. Printed with ABS plastic and secured with epoxy, this adapter withstands even the most strenuous connections – like joining the two 2-inch ports together without collapsing under pressure. A crucial variable in the OpenSCAD file allows users to adjust the thickness of the item at will. Slic3R PE recommends a 2.96mm value for optimal results when setting perimeters to 4 and checking the 'Detect thin walls' option. The 'port_small' and 'port_large' arrays serve only as reference points; the actual values are hardcoded within the source code itself. The top and bottom halves of this adapter are joined by a small cube, making it manifold and printable in a single session.
