4 Switch Plate
thingiverse
This switch plate is designed for use in RVs, trucks, boats or any location where a removable switch plate can be utilized. It's set up to accommodate any switch (I've chosen toggle switches) that employs a 1/2" main switch shaft (the part that passes through the hole). I've also added OFF and ON labels for a single throw switch (switch throw up or down), so if you use a three position switch, simply cut the letters off the faceplate with a sharp knife. Another version is being considered that will feature a spot to insert a 5mm LED to indicate when the switch is on. If this idea appeals to you, let me know, or feel free to modify this design to your liking. This project does not require rafts or supports; however, using a raft might be an option if your printer has trouble removing items from the table due to its large flat footprint. You're encouraged to customize this design as needed, but please give credit for the original concept in any postings or remixes. If you print or modify this switch plate, I'd love to see your results; simply post a picture of it and let me know how it turned out. Thanks!
