However, she's advanced significantly in her skills and I'm confident that she can handle it.\nThe model is quite simple - it's just a sphere cut in half with 4 stars protruding from the top. It prints without any supports required.\nTo finish it, my wife sanded it slightly to reduce visibility of layer lines, then primed it thoroughly after gluing it together. To fill the seam, she used repair putty and sanded some more before applying a glossy coat. After that, she sprayed the entire thing yellow with an airbrush and added a light orange spray for an iridescent effect.
