This is a rear speaker mount designed specifically for the 4" Tang Band W4-1337SA. It accommodates square nuts, measuring 10x10x3mm - 10-32 Menards part # 85611, which fit snugly and can slide along the radius line to accommodate variations in different 4" speakers and compensate for material shrink rates. The mounting plate is designed to be used as a backer in an 11" Ikea Blanda Matt Bamboo bowl, distributing pressure evenly on both the hole lip and the OD lip of the mounting plate. This unique design ensures compatibility with various speaker models and materials. The terminal cup is carefully crafted to mimic the 4" Tang Band W4-1337SA, allowing for seamless integration with a flush cut baffle. Print Settings: Printer: Zortrax M200 Rafts: Not necessary Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.19mm Infill: Medium Notes: z-ABS filament used Post-Printing Instructions: Use a SHARP chisel to carefully remove the support from the 10x3mm slot. Push a sacrificial nut through the hole from the outside, supporting the edge of the nut bracket on a table edge if necessary. Gently hammer it in and tap out with a slotted/standard screwdriver several times. Mount the speaker to the mounting plate, using a stepper bit to open up the bolt hole bottom if needed. Secure each outer nut corner with 1 drop of CA glue and add 1 drop of CA Accelerator after 30 seconds. Remove the speaker after 1 minute. To finish the mount, apply acetone vapour for 45 minutes to achieve a smooth surface. Design Software Used: Trimble (formerly Google) Sketchup Make 2015 with STL exporter
