4" Seven Segment Display

4" Seven Segment Display

myminifactory

This is a big 4-inch diagonal-to-diagonal 7-segment display. It uses 20 five-millimeter LEDs and the colors are entirely your decision. In my version, I built it with 20 bi-colored (red and green) LEDs that had a diffused lens. It's great to use on walls and makes an awesome clock, temperature monitor or maybe use it to show the number of unread emails in your inbox! Instructions: There are six files that make up this display; however, some parts need to be printed twice. Print the 7_Segment_Display_Frame, 7_Segment_Dot, and 7_Segment_G STL files just once. The rest of the parts need to be printed twice each. You'll notice that the file name corresponds to the correct layout of a generic 7-segment display. For the electronics, I've provided an Instructable which you can view here: http://www.instructables.com/id/4-Seven-Segment-Display
