I am attaching a 1.25 inch shop vac hose to a standard 4-inch PVC pipe for use with my miter saw's dust collection system. To accomplish this, I will utilize silicone adhesive and screws to secure the hose to the outside of the PVC pipe after drilling a hole in it.
