This filter is specifically designed to fit snugly onto a 4" SCH 40 PVC Pipe. Its primary function is to act as an initial chip separator for a CNC machine's coolant system, making it easier on the downstream filters by removing most of the debris. When printing the filter, it's essential to orient it with the flat side facing downwards. While layer and speed settings can be adjusted according to preference, a 0.5mm nozzle or smaller is recommended for optimal results. If you're unsure about your nozzle size, chances are it's a .4mm nozzle. For those who prefer a more compact design, I've also created a non-flanged version of this filter that can be pressed directly into the pipe.
