UPDATE: The files have been updated on February 15th with some crucial tweaks that warrant re-downloading, especially if you've already downloaded the previous version. I recently created a custom enclosure for printing materials like ABS, which demanded a solution to prevent cold air from seeping in through the vent hose and hot air from escaping. To address this issue, I placed a surgical mask over the vent hole, but it soon became apparent that the mask was severely restricting airflow from the fan after just one night of experimentation. Given my vent leads out to a window, albeit behind a screen, I required a low-profile solution to prevent back drafts. This led me to design a custom vent cover that swings in only one direction, allowing unrestricted airflow when venting. The design is specifically tailored for a 4-inch hole but can be adapted for holes up to 4.5 inches in diameter. Smaller openings will also work seamlessly with this vent cover.
