4 Inch Moon Lamp

I've designed this lamp to accommodate a G4 light fitting seamlessly. To achieve this, I've incorporated a flat base for easy printing and an M16, 1mm pitch screw thread on the base. This design choice allows me to create a fitting that securely holds the G4 light fixture in place. By threading an M9, 1 pitch hole through the middle of the fitting, the G4 light can be screwed directly into it, creating a sturdy connection. The Moon-shaped lampshade will then screw onto this base, completing the design. There are two files available for printing: one designed as a traditional bedside table lamp and another that has been inverted so that when hung from the ceiling, the Moon remains upright. This versatility ensures that the lamp can be adapted to various settings and preferences.
