4 inch Enclosure Duct Fan (5015)

<p>This is a duct mount for a 5015 fan to vent. It mounts inside a 4 inch dryer duct. Designed for use with a Creality enclosure, but will work for any 4 inch duct. The purpose is to vent toxic ABS fumes from the enclosure to the outside.</p><p>On the Creality enclosure, a 24V 5015 fan was used, powered by the 24V power supply from the printer.</p><p>It was printed with a .8mm nozzle with a .4mm layer height, but can be printed with a smaller nozzle and layer height. Since the enclosure will get warm during printing, we printed it in ABS. PLA may warp if the temperature inside the enclosure is too high.</p><p>No supports necessary, and the fan press fits into the model, and stays in place. If you have trouble, or require a more confident fit, a hole for a M4 nut and bolt (24-26mm long) can be used, with holes for the tool on the exterior shell. A zip tie around the vent can hold everything together.</p>
