I designed an adapter that links a 4-inch vacuum hose to the 2-inch opening of my dust collecting system. Perhaps you'll find it useful? You can print version A or B to match the thread direction of your hose, even if you get it reversed - it still worked for me. I chose ABS for its durability and printed with a generous 15-20 perimeter brim to keep it stable during printing.
