This is an adapter plate for connecting devices with a 17mm mounting hole to plates with the 4-hole AMPS pattern, commonly found on products such as RAM Mounts. With this plate, you can secure your Garmin Nuvi base within a RAM mount (Image included), offering flexible installation options. Although untested on actual road conditions, initial inspections reveal a snug fit between the adapter and the nuvi base. However, during sharp turns or rapid maneuvers, slight movement is possible.
