4 Epp Pipette Rack V2
thingiverse
Although I no longer work in the original lab where the photo was taken as seen in the previous design, nor I work with Epp research plus pipettors anymore, I still decided to make some improvements on my first and up to date, only, Thingiverse submission. Printing curvy surface with a FDM and having the shearing force direction parallel to the layers probably wasn't the best idea, so I came up with this simplified version which replaced the curvy beam forks with four big chunk of cheesecake-like chunks. This enables printing while sitting on the forks, and the layers would align in favor of the load direction and probably less easily to break. Haven't tested this with heavier stuff, but it should easily hold up four pipettes and some rigorous research. Nominally one print takes around 235g if using conventional support for the football goal version, and much less (~175g) for the cricket wicket version. A "Benchmark Piece" is also included so you can print it out in an hour and check whether this design would fit your shelves. It's basically a slice of the whole thing, so feel free to scale it even thinner.
