4 Drive Raid Cage
thingiverse
I designed this project in 2018, but it's no longer needed for me. I built a raid cage to convert an old case's 3 x 5.25 drive inch bay space into three 3.5-inch hard drive bays. While there may be more efficient methods available, this approach worked well for my needs. This project uses one 120mm computer fan and the separate components are held together with strong 5mm x 1mm magnets, similar to those used in magnetic whiteboards like the one found at https://www.amazon.com/Personalized-Multi-Use-Whiteboard-Magnetic-Refrigerators/dp/B075PNH16R/.
