4 and 5 tone-hole Blastoids
thingiverse
I conducted a series of experiments that led to the development of my 10 tone hole whistle entry into the "Make It Loud" challenge, which can be viewed at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1161114. Although I officially submitted the Decatone Blaster, these prototypes in this post are probably the ones you'll prefer printing as they don't require much lung power to activate. Here's how to use them: Place one flat on a table Plug your ears fully with pinkie fingers Take a deep breath and blow hard You can see my Quadtone in action at https://youtu.be/osQZ2n5PLKs. I made this video without using ear protection, and as you might imagine, it was a reckless move on my part. The brighter image above is the Five Tone Blastoid after being treated with acetone vapor - and believe it or not, it actually works better than when I first pulled it out of the printer. Give them a try!
