Improved battery holder, holds 4 AA batteries. Uses snap lock lid and spring contacts. I'll add build details in post processing once version 2 of this finishes printing - if you need details sooner check out my Gutter Downspout 180 Joint project on how to use filament joints. BOM: - QTY 8 Battery spring contacts (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32884289489.html) Optional nut and screw if you need a more secure lid but after testing I found built in latch to be sufficient - QTY 1 M3 X 10 Button Head Machine Screw (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32798146322.html) - QTY 1 M3 X 6 X 5.3 Embedded Nut (old link no longer works - possible substitution M3 X D5 X L6) https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000232858343.html Files updated 9/4/2020, tweaked some of the fit issues and added a snap on type connection to the bottom, I'd still glue together the bottom and the case but this *might* hold without glue Updated 9/5/2020, improved fit issues with the bottom, added (+) / (-) indicators and clarified wiring routes Updated 9/9/2020, minor tweaks to bottom and top Updated 9/10/2020, caps were too small for larger diameter wire and post were too flimsy to hold cap in place, revised caps to be larger and use glue on installation
