The sewercreeps were one of the first failed experiments of the Rat King, and as such, were promptly discarded. Some time later the noxious fumes and toxic wastes from the depths of the sewers gave them new life, and they were found trying to crawl back to the surface. However, they would not be allowed to suffer in peace, for this meant a major breakthrough in the King’s research to make the ultimate monster. So just like this, the King took these poor rats and started breaking them down and mixing them up to see how far he could go.
