To get comfortable with your printer, you'll need to understand how it handles printing in hot, cold, and humid environments. Regardless of the printer you're using, I strongly recommend keeping your room at a cool and dry temperature. When it comes to filament, I highly recommend using Hatchbox PLA - it may cost a bit more but trust me, it's 100% worth it. Seriously. Here are some settings that work incredibly well with Hatchbox PLA: Set the temperature to 195 degrees Celsius (with a bed temperature ranging from 40-55 depending on the season). Print at a speed of 60 millimeters per minute. Use a retraction distance of 0.80 and a retraction speed of 30. For tiles, use an infill density of 15%. Finally, apply 7 solid layers to the top of your print and 4 solid layers to the bottom.
