Part of the nobility of a distant fortress, from which he escaped for business gone wrong. He settled in the Betula fortress with modified documents that positioned him as high nobility, and, pretending to be someone he was not, he made his way through the high society of his new community, while moving through desert settlements around the fortress. Once he ran into some dwarves wandering the desert, looking for directions to the nearest settlement.
