Modify your Chimera with a forward airlock to easily land on strange new worlds and get your crew to ground level. Perhaps you are looking to load cargo from the bottom or top of the ship. These airlocks include movable doors, offer additional pressurised points of entry into your vessel, and can be opened and closed. Please note that you will need the base ship to be able to build this variant. The Base Chimera is an original, fully 3D-printable spaceship scaled for 28mm play in your favourite Tabletop RPG, Wargame or display. Compatible with the OpenLOCK system created by and available at Printable Scenery. The stock Chimera is detailed inside and out and a variety of configurations can be used to customise the deck plans that include three decks standard. It is completely modular, so that you can create you own variations in length, height and witdh. And with a forward airlock. Please note that these are STL files only! You will need a 3D printer or print service in order to print the parts. The parts have been designed with FDM printers in mind at 100-200 microns and should be fully printable using PLA, ABS, PETG or PEI plastic, although you will achieve better results with SLA/DLP printers (resin) or higher resolution FDM prints. You may need to rotate objects for optimal printing or add supports, particularly for overhanging areas, such as the top of door frames.Parts are designed in 28mm scale (1" squares), but can be rescaled easily in your 3D printing software package.
