I had the flange in the shower drain's screw holder break. The shower is located on the second floor, which made it impossible for me to replace the flange without major ceiling repairs. To solve this problem, I designed a friction-based shower drain cover that would fit snugly into the drain hole. For my initial prototype, I used PLA+, and after a week of use, it seemed to be working just fine. In an effort to improve durability, I printed the latest version using PETG, hoping it would withstand long hot showers.
