This design is part of my Plant Grow Tent Project:https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6724085This design is part of my Mushroom Grow Tent (Martha Project).https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6724061Presenting my latest design for enhanced grow tent ventilation!I've created a mount specifically tailored for an 80mm diameter IP68 fan. This easy-to-print solution brings a significant improvement to your grow tent. Grow tents come with openings for fresh air intake and exhaust, and my design optimizes these functions. Fresh air comes in from the top, thanks to a custom adapter that ensures a snug fit, effectively sealing the tent. The adapter includes a hose and a HEPA filter, ensuring that only filtered air enters your grow tent. This design prevents the release of contaminants, such as spores, into your living space. The exhaust fan is mounted securely on a simple frame that easily attaches to the tent frame, preventing any sagging or dangling along the sides. The external adapter on the fan also acts as an effective seal for the tent. To direct the exhaust air outside, I've incorporated affordable air vent hoses into the design. For added convenience, the design includes a straight connector and a Y-connector.Inside the tent, an extra fan maintains a continuous circular movement of the air, promoting consistent air quality throughout. This is crucial for achieving a homogeneous distribution of humidity when growing mushrooms. Additionally, it benefits plant growth by efficiently removing excess exhaust.Upgrade your grow tent ventilation with this straightforward yet effective design. Happy growing!Update: 2024-08-03: Added side support for a 120 mm fan. Due to a growsers request, I added a new mount to support the popular 120mm fan size. The external mount is the same for a 100mm exhaust hose.I recommend using a fan that can create some pressure because there is now a diameter size reduction.Update 10.08.2024: Top Exhaust for 80 mm Fan addedI added a new top mount for an 80 mm fan. Just one extra part needs to be printed four times. Now, all ventilation strategies are possible:-double exhaust from the top and side if there is too much humidity,-exhaust from the top alone when there's just a little too much humidity, or-exhaust from the bottom if the tent is too dry. Check out my YouTube Short for a demonstration of the new design.https://youtube.com/shorts/GKqn8-DqASs?feature=shareUpdate 2024-8-12: Top Exhaust for 120 mm fan addedI recommend using a fan that can create pressure due to the reduction in diameter size. For pressure-demanding applications, such as heatsinks and radiators, Noctua’s NF-F12 fan is a good choice. It features the Focused Flow™ frame, which uses eleven stator guide vanes to straighten and focus airflow, allowing it to perform as well as faster conventional fans. The NF-F12 is particularly well-suited for these scenarios.https://noctua.at/en/which_fan_is_right_for_mehttps://noctua.at/en/nf-f12-industrialppc-2000-ip67-pwm Happy Growing!
