4:1 Ratio PlanetaryGearbox

I conceptualized this project back in 2013 as a starting point, acknowledging that it's still incomplete. One glaring issue is the inability to restrict the planet gears within the carrier planet axially. Although we could potentially constrain the ring gears by employing forced fit pins, this method isn't ideal and might be quite challenging to execute. The gear teeth on both the planet and ring gears are meticulously modeled as actual involute curves using splines, ensuring a smooth rolling motion when printed with optimal settings. Each stage boasts a 4:1 ratio, and I intentionally designed them for stackability – as evidenced by the 16:1 ratio depicted in the image. Since the design isn't fully realized, I haven't attempted to print it yet; however, I'm eager to see if others can bring it to life or repurpose its components for their own projects.
