This humidifier has never let me down and requires minimal maintenance. Now, I'm excited to introduce the optimized version! What's New:The key enhancement is the addition of a floating switch for water control, making it ideal for use inside a grow tent. It's crucial to avoid having a stagnant water reservoir inside a tent with a powerful grow light. The combination of water, air, and light is fantastic for plant growth, but it can lead to the growth of algae in the water. Why the Update:The update addresses the challenge of maintaining a clean water source inside a grow tent. While this might not be critical for a mushroom grow tent, it's vital for tropical plants. The design ensures no light enters the water reservoir, preventing algae formation. Thick walls, labyrinth sealings, and shine-through-resistant toothbrushes contribute to the reliability of the system.Benefits:Ideal for tropical plant tents./ Prevents algae growth in the water reservoir./ Designed to keep light out of the water./ Easy to maintain with minimal effort./ Cost-effective solution for your grow tent. Conclusion:This optimized humidifier is a game-changer for those serious about maintaining a healthy environment for their plants. It's not only effective and efficient but also budget-friendly. I hope you find it as valuable as I have. Happy growing! In the video below, I demonstrate how easy it is to decalcify a sonic disc. These sonic discs belong to an ultrasonic fogger and operate on 5 volts. They are very affordable and highly reliable. I have been running my fogger in my grow tents for years now, and all I do is refill the external water reservoir once a week.https://youtube.com/shorts/uZoT545J3SIThe decalcification process is straightforward. One simply adds two drops of vinegar essence to the sonic disc and waits for approximately thirty minutes. Afterward, use an ear stick to clean the sonic disc. On one side, clean the disc, and on the other side, soak off the remaining vinegar to prevent introducing any acid into the grow environment. Since I only use Brita-filtered rainwater, I don't really encounter issues with calcification. My humidifier consists of two separate misting units to ensure continuous humidity, even if one unit fails. As I mentioned earlier, I have not experienced any issues with these devices and have been using them continuously for over two years. Happy growing!
